you and your child feel at home from the moment you walk through the door. We are proud to be members of
the Eastern Kentucky community and serve the dental needs of their children.
Dr. Alan Seth Hyden
Dr. Seth graduated from the University Of Louisville College Of Dentistry in 2004. He
completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Kentucky in 2005. He later
completed his specialty training in pediatrics at the University of Kentucky in 2007. Dr.
Seth served as the Chief Resident while at the University of Kentucky Pediatric
Program. He also was elected as a member of the Admissions committee for the
University of Kentucky in 2006 and the Admissions committee for the University of Louisville in
2004. Dr. Seth returned to his hometown of Prestonsburg Kentucky and founded Hyden
Pediatric Dentistry in 2007. He currently is a staff member and performs outpatient dental
surgeries at Highlands Regional Medical Center and ARH hospital in Hazard. Dr. Seth is a
Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. He currently is a member of the American Dental Association
(ADA), the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), the Kentucky Dental Association
(KDA), and the Kentucky Mountain Dental Association. Dr. Seth was also voted “Top Dentist”
by his peers in the Kentucky Monthly Magazine. He dedicates many hours yearly to various
continuing education courses associated with his specialty in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr.
Hyden is married to Amy Hyden and has 3 children. He volunteers in the community with
various youth activities throughout the year with Little League Baseball, Upward Basketball,
Grade School Football, and many others.

Amy Hyden
Serves as Assistant Office Manager. She joined the office in 2007. She has
certificates in coronal polishing and radiology.

Serves as Human Resource director. She joined our staff in 2007.

Dental Assistant joined our practice in 2014. She has her certificate in radiology.

Courtney Crider
Dental Hygienist joined our practice in 2009. She is licensed to deliver local anesthesia and
certified in generalized supervision.

Dental Assistant joined our practice in 2010. She has certificates in coronal polishing
and radiology and expanded duties dental assistant.

Front Office Staff joined our practice in 2011. She has extensive knowledge of dental
insurance.
